The Sporting Summer Festival 2013 inaugurated by Rod Stewart!
6 July 2013  7 July 2013

Rod Stewart will be the opening act of the Sporting Summer Festival 2013 at the Sporting Monte-Carlo!

Rod Stewart has sold more than 200 million records worldwide during a career that spans almost five decades! This incredible artist is a permanent member of the Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of Fame.

In The Rolling Stone Illustrated History of Rock & Roll, Rod Stewart is described as a unique and accomplished artist whose discography has two unique qualities: unrivalled warmth and a refreshing humility. He was recently lauded for the successful publication of his memoirs entitled Rod – The Autobiography and his very first Christmas album Merry Christmas, Baby released with the Verve Music Group label. Surrounded by the future Kinks, Fleetwood Mac and Rolling Stones, he did not become successful until 1967 with The Faces.

In 2013, Rod Stewart made a huge comeback with a new album, Time. He will be opening the Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival 2013 with an anthology of his greatest hits including “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy”, “Maggie May”, “Baby Jane” and “The First Cut is the Deepest”, so we can expect the temperature to go up in the Salle des Etoiles that night!
